Best Coverage on last night's Versace for H&M Event: Harper's Bazaar

Fashion world has been going crazy over the last cooperation of H&M (click for my post on it). The high street fashion brand is now collaborating with the House of Versace which is making us drool. I'm not going to share the pictures you have already seen on the web for the last 24 hours of the event last night in New York. The collaboration of H&M and Versace was celebrated with a runway show and a live show of Prince. The blogs, the magazines and everyone else has covered the event and the products. I assessed all of these and I have decided that the best coverage was of Harper's Bazaar's with the close-up and backstage photos. Here are some of my favorite shots. If you're expecting celebrity coverage though, you might prefer something else.

Benim en sevdiğim resimler burda. Ama eğer ünlülerin resimlerini görmek istiyorsanız başka birşey deneyin bence.)

Hello Boots :)

I have been looking for boots for days now and I was totally hopeless. I must have tried on at least ten pairs from Celine to Prada. I was so hopeless that I almost did not buy any. I complained like crazy to my best friend Nazlı and she said "Why don't you take a look at Burberry?". I like the trenches, the coats and the scarves there but I had not bought shoes from there (well only rain boots which does not count) so I said what the hell. So Melis and I went there after visiting Prada for the 1032421th time. I saw these perfect boots and bam! I was sold. I am now officially a happy happy girl.

(Bot bakmaya başlayalı günler olmuştu ve artık umudumu kaybetmeuye başlamıştım. Heralde Celineden Pradaya on çift falan denemiş olabilirim. Hatta bir ara almıyorum bot bu sene bile dedim. Deli gibi Nazlı'ya söylendim tabiki. O da bana dedi ki "Bir de Burberry'e baksana.". Ben Burberry'nin trençkotlarını, paltolarını, atkılarını çok beğenirim ama daha önce hiç ayakkabı almamıştım (yağmur botu dışında ama onlar da sayılmaz) ben de nolucak bir bakalım dedim. Melisle ben 13434 kere Prada'ya gittikten sonra Burberry'ye gittik. Bu botları gördüm ve aşık oldum. Şimdi çok mutlu bir kızım.)

 No, I don't own an Ipad -yet- and yes, I was very jealous when my bf bought one. However, the fact that I don't own an Ipad does not mean I cannot appreciate a good Ipad Case. The fashion industry now makes the most beautiful Ipad cases with brands selective from Bottega Veneta to Marc by Marc Jacobs. I must tell you, the colors and the shades are just perfect. What has been happening lately is our favorite bloggers and fashionistas from all over the world have been sporting Ipad cases as clutches. No surprise though. I think it's a perfect idea. And no, I will not buy an Ipad case and make it a clutch when I don't have an Ipad.

Buy or DIY? Glitter Boots

When I was surfing (yes I did use that word in 2011 :)) my fav blogs, I ran into these DIY Glitter Boots in A Pair  & a Spare which led me to Le Fanciulle. They give you instructions on how to make glitter boots and let me tell you I was very intrigued. I saw these Maje boots when I was in Barcelona but did not buy them as they felt a little uncomfortable. Yesterday I saw them again in Beymen and I wanted to give them another try as I really really want a glitter boot. I will go to Beymen again today for something else, but what do you think, shoul I buy the Maje boots or try to do it myself thanks to Le Fanciulle?

Look at this shoot for Marie Claire UK. Doesn't she look gorgeous? Even though the Article says that she was never Carrie Bradshaw, she looks like the Carrie who is still our favorite gal.

Do you remember this Versace dress Carrie wore in the final episode? I find the skirt of this dress to be just like it.  And even though I don't want a third sequel of SATC, I still miss it dearly.

Thank you Marie Claire for making me feel all cozy and warm inside again.

According to various fashion news sources, Prada is planning to launch a jewellery line which makes me a happy girl as I adored the jewellery on the SS 2012 show :). Looking forward.

Who will win the cover wars of Fall 2011 I bet the Fetish Cap

Every season, there are hit items that hit (see I can be ironic) the covers. Last season it was this Prada Hat, and even though this season is yet to end, I predict (yes I am making another prediction) that it will be the Fetish Cap of Louis Vuitton. It was already featured in 9 covers (and these are only the ones that I am aware of) and I think many more will come. We will see. If you think I'm wrong, please do say so.

As you might have heard, Turkey has been going through a rough time. After the terrorist attacks last week, the city of Van was hit by an earthquake of 7.3. I have not been in the mood to post just for that. I quite honestly still am not in the mood but I am pushing myself.
