You must have seen Jennifer Lawrence's dresses for the Hunger Games premieres. She got the attention she never did with both of these outfits. And great for her. She wore the most beautiful Prabal Grung gown to the LA Premiere of the movie and the Ralph Lauren gown to the London Premiere.

Both dresses are magnificent. However, I don't think it is wise to wear the same color to the premiere of the same movie in the same damn week! What the hell? Couldn't her stylist find her another color for the London Premiere? Or couldn't she say no to her stylist insisting that she wear the same color twice? Or did she receive a message from the high above "Thou shall wear gold twice!" "Thou shall not wear another color!"? I mean wtf? No-no honey, no-no.

Well who doesn't love a good tie-dye jean in their collection. If you're bored of your good-old colored denims go with tie-dye. According to Geri they are very comfy and read as "I put an effort into this". I guess Olivia Palermo agrees. Well so do I.

I have not been posting "Please don't wear that" for a long time and I have been getting complaints (A friend of mine loves that section). And our celebs do give me the material.

January Jones in Jenny Packham

Ms. January Jones, you are a beautiful, beautiful woman. I just don't understand why you insist on wearing ugly things. I don't particularly have a problem with the dress itself. I have a problem with those opaque tights with it. I love a good dress with good opaque tights but this does not work.

(Bayan January Jones, çok ama çok güzel bir bayansınız. Gerçekten neden bu kadar çirkin şeyler giymekte ısrar ettiğinizi anlayamıyorum. Elbisenin kendisiyle bir problemim yok. Problemim altına giydiği o kalın siyah çoraplarla. Ben de herkes gibi opak çorap giymeyi çok seviyorum ama bu elbiseyle olamamış üzgünüm.)

Miley Cyrus in Emilio Pucci

I think this outfit is really beautiful. However, it does not work on Miley. Just as this didn't work for Gwyneth. The mere fact that Miley's breasts are bursting out of the bustier is reason enough for me to hate it. Oh, and don't forget that she is too young to pull of this either.

(Bence bu kıyafet gayet güzel. Ama Miley'e olmamış. Bu elbisenin de Gwyneth'e olmadığı gibi. Zaten sadece Miley'nin memelerinin elbiseden fırlamak üzere olmaları bile bu kıyafetten nefret etmem için yeterli bir sebep. Ha, Miley'nin bu tip şeyler için çok genç olması da cabası.)

If my mother knew I was still craving for a bag she would hit me with my current bags (and seriously beat the crap out of me). But I can't help it. Hey dreaming is not a sin you know! For the moment dreaming will need to suffice.

What happens if you meet Coco Rocha in Milan?

Well you feel like a bug for instance. I don't mean to be mean to myself. But god she's beautfitul. 

Ok let me tell you how this hideous picture was taken. We were wining and dining in Savini in Milan when Coco and her friends walked in. I tried to talk myself into going over to her and ask her to take a picture together for an hour (and thanks to the wine I drank, I finally did). So I went over to her table trying not to make her uncomfortable and asked her if we could take a picture. To my utter surprise she said yes. And she was really nice about it. 

But this is not the point to my post. The point is that models are so beautiful (she said, feeling like an utter idiot). I mean she was sitting there with three other models (who I'm sorry but I did not recognize) and each of them looked like they were from another planet. It's not like they are very beautiful regular people. They are models which now I come to understand is a totally different concept. And you cannot understand the difference unless you see one in person. God, the way she looked made me hate myself. Their skin and their bodies. I thought I was at least a little bit attractive you know. But now, I feel like I look like a total bug.

When I come to think about it, perhaps, this is what people have been shouting about girls like myself trying to look like models and having no sense of self-confidence, to a point of making them(our)selves starve to death. The difference is I think (I have come to understand) is that no matter how much you starve yourself to death if your DNA does not allow you to look like a model, you won't and you will end up looking like Nicole Richie at her worst. And I know that there is no fucking way you will look like a model unless you are genetically designed to look like one. 

I mean I get that no matter how much I work out I will not be as thin as Karlie Kloss or how much I go to a facial my skin will never be as pure as Coco's. So I have accepted the fact that I will never be "model" beautiful. Instead I might try my best to look "people" good. (Which admittedly, I don't look in this picture)

I know this is a long post but I promise I am cutting to the chase right now. I, as a devoted fashion magazine reader, I appreciate curves on normal people. (Damn it, I know a man would never look twice at a girl without tits and a hot ass) Therefore you can appreciate that I am not pro-anorexia and that I accept in no way girls idolizing models so much that they starve themselves. Me, I just want to see pretty pretty girls (and the sound in my head is like tra-la-la-laaa).

So there, make a comparison and hate me.

I have been dreaming of a PS1 since I don't know when and I finally got it. (and the beat goes bumpumtıss) I'm so glad that I still can dream and have my dreams met.

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012: Miu Miu

And last but not least (not taking into consideration any post I might add on the street styling thing) Miu Miu. As promised, I will not be posting any runway pictures. Because I have also seen that I have posted way too many runway collages and I even bored myself. (Keh. Keh) I even don't have the energy to write that much about the show. I'm like "decide for yourself." No seriously, I like it. Especially the mustard bags. Added them on my non-ending list of wishes. I will shut up now.

  Today's post was going to be the Miu Miu show. But I decided to post this instead. Sue me.

When fashion season hits, the street get more credit than the actual runways do. So what better way to look at street shots to understand what the hell is going on in the fashion world? Don't worry I will most definitely post another post on the street looks (boo-hoo right?). So what I have been seeing lately is this cutest Vika Grazinskaya top. Even our favorite Miroslava has been seen sporting the cute top. So it was a duty of mine to share it with my beloved readers.

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012: Louis Vuitton

You might have heard, Marc Jacobs literally made a train go through the runway. Kind of showing us his inspiration for the collection. If you look at the pieces, it's a "50's sophistication but also going on a train to somewhere" clashing with the Dr.Seuss hat and Willy Wonka of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I know people (especially magazines et. all) will be all "Oh my God Marc Jacobs gave us a perfect Louis Vuitton Fall 2012." But I'm more like "eh". I mean the SS collection was way better. But even if we don't get there I do have some questions in mind for this collection. Though I quite hate it I also have good feelings which I can't put my finger on. Is it the hate bordering to love? Or am I finding some sort of goodness in all this? I have never thought I would be this torn over a collection. Well there's a first to everything. I think I like the period inspiration thing. Yeah that should be it. Please welcome, Louis Vuitton Fall 2012!

Acaba nefret aşka mı yaklaşıyor o küçük çizgi inceliyor mu? Yoksa bu kadar beğenmediğim şeyin arasında aslında bir güzellik mi yatıyor? Bir koleksiyon için hiç bu kadar arada kalıcağımı düşünmezdim. Neyse herşeyin bir ilki vardır. Ama sanırım bu dönem ilham olayını seviyorum. Evet evet bence bu olmalı. Her neyse, karşınızda Louis Vuitton Sonbahar Kış 2012 koleksiyonu!)

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012: Chanel

Ex-model and Vogue Turkey Fashion Editor Ece Sükan has tweeted yesterday saying that we will be freed from her tweets on fashion weeks in two days. Well I can say the same about my post which I'm afraid have started boring you to death. But this fashion season has given me a lot to write about. So day by day I am writing my thoughts about the new collections. Of course today is one of the most important for me. It's Chanel day everyone. So gather around and take a look at the collection (if you haven't already)

Balenciaga determines the future of fashion. Those skirts will be the must-have of each and every fashionista. Loving the crisp cuts and the styling. It's just so clear cut. Love love love! And we all need those cool tops don't we?

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012: Isabel Marant and Balmain

I know this will pretty much piss off every reader but I need to say this. I sometimes feel that Balmain and Isabel Marant collections are always the same (not alike each other but alike their previous collections). I really like both brands and I love Isabel Marant but sometimes I have the need to see some difference an innovation if you may.

(Biliyorum şu post büyük ihtimalle bütün okuyucularımı kızdırıcak. Ama nedense kendimi bunu söyleme ihtiyacında hissediyorum. Bazen Balmain ve Isabel Marant'ın çok aynı olduğunu düşünüyorum (yanlış anlamayın birbirleriyle değil kendisinde hep aynı). Ben her iki markayı da çok beğeniorum ve özellikle Isabel Marant'a hayranım. Ama bazen yenilik ve değişiklik de görmek istiyorum.)

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012: Lanvin

You might have noticed, I usually have a full recap of the fashion weeks without having one post for one designer. But I am changing this right now. You might wonder why. Well, I cannot try and put fabulous collections into one post. So we see here the new collection of Lanvin which has the effect of haunting me in my dreams (in a good way). 

(Farketmişsinizdir, genelde moda haftalarının tam bir özetinin yapmayı tercih ediyorum ve sadece bir tasarımcı için bir post yapmıyorum. Ama  bunu şuanda değiştiriyorum. Neden diye merak edebilirsiniz. Söyleyeyim, çünkü mükemmel koleksiyonları tek posta sıkıştıramam da o yüzden. Burada Lanvin'in yeni koleksiyonunu görüyoruz ve bu koleksiyon beni uykumda rahat bırakmaz bence (iyi anlamda).)

Even though I should have long gotten used to it, it still makes me ow so happy to see colors on a fall runway. And to do it with such sophistication is why we love Lanvin. You know it is not easy to have this much  structuring on dresses and make it so good.

(Her ne kadar çoktan alışmış olmam gerekiyor olsa da, sonbahar kış koleksiyonlarında renk görmek beni halen çok mutlu ediyor. Ve bunu bu kadar sofistike şekilde yapmayı her seferinde becerdiği için Lanvin'i bu kadar çok seviyoruz. Üstelik elbiselerde bu kadar çok doku olmasının ve bunun da bu kadar güzel olmasının kolay olmadığını da biliyorsunuz.)

Click clack you can hear the sound of my heels. I am wearing pumps as a matter of fact. You can never go wrong with pumps. And this spring you can not do without colored (be it neon be it pastel) point toe pumps with the finest of your cropped pants. You may not want to pay a fortune (even though I suggest you own a pair of good pumps) then you can go high street!
