Scandal of the week

Never again. I will never buy shoes from Vario again. Vario is a Turkish shoe store who sells brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Castaner and also their own products. I made the mistake of buying a pair of theirs.

(Asla. Bir daha asla Vario'dan ayakkabı almam. Vario Akmerkez, İstinye Park ve bir yerlerde daha mağazası olan bir ayakkabı dükkanı. Belki biliyorsunuzdur, bilmiyorsanız. Roberto Cavalli, Castaner gibi markaları da satıyorlar (hatta bir iki marka daha var ama şuan hatırlayamıyorum). Vario'nun kendi üretimi olan ayakkabılardan birini alma hatasını yaptım.)

Let's go back to the beginning of the story. I don't buy my clothes from high end brands. Even though I would really want to buy my clothes from high end brands such as Balenciaga or Stella McCartney, I can't afford to have a closet full of items worth at least 500$ a pair. So, I dress from less expensive brands. My favorite these days is Beymen Club. If I want to go highstreet, I go Topshop or Zara or H&M. However, I never bought shoes from anywhere but high end brands. It might seem a bit snobbish to you but shoes and bags were my babies and I never bought shoes from Zara or Topshop. For the last two years or so, that had changed. I had decided to give a chance to shoes from Topshop or Zara. And to my boyfriend's surprise, I was going to continue my new motto (when he had seen the shoes I bought from Topshop he had said "Wow would you buy shoes this cheap?". His unique way of mocking me.) So, till now, it has been great. Me and my shoes from Topshop were having a love affair.

Dolayısıyla, daha az pahalı yerlerden giyinmeyi tercih ediyorum. Şu aralar Beymen Club favorim. Daha ucuza inersek de her genç kız gibi Zara veya Topshop veya H&M'i seviyorum. Ama eskiden marka olmayan ayakkabı almamak gibi bir huyum vardı. Çok snob gelebilir ama çantalarım ve ayakkabılarım benim bebeklerim olduğu için hiç bir zaman Topshop veya Zara'dan almazdım. Son iki senedir bu durum değişmişti. Zara ve Topshop'tan ayakkabı almaya başladım. Ve erkek arkadaşım şaşırmış olmasına rağmen bu duruma da devam etmeyi planlıyordum (Topshop'tan aldığım ayakkabıları görünce "Vaaay sen bu kadara ayakkabı alır mıydın?" şeklinde benle kendince dalga geçmişti). So you did not get to buy the Isabel Marant Sneakers

Well you couldn't get to buy them because they are sold out. If you really wish to own them to go online (which is not the ultimate solution). However, if your ultimate goal is to own wedge sneakers, then stop crying.

When I was in middle school (which was in the 90's) wedged sneakers were hot. I remember crying like a baby to have my mom buy me one. Then that trend went to trash and so did my sneakers. Isabel Marant, being the new fashion icon brand decided to introduce the wedge sneakers last season. Which I could not decide to love or hate (and then decided to love). Everyone from Luxuryshoppers to Miranda Kerr to the Blonde Salad wore them shoving them to our unhappy face because we just could not find one (and believe me I know for a fact that some did really try).
